Hilarious how that's all they need with some good driving to keep up in most places, weight and wheelbase really do mean a lot

I had to anchor a built TJ on 35s while it wenched through the snow

It's been a long journey but finely made it. January 2004 I flipped and totaled a Tundra on black ice. Wife want a Sequoia but because of a tax break in 2003 for vehicles with #5400 GVW no Sequoias and limited GX were available. Been thru a number of vehicles since then. Still have the 04 4Runner bought in January 04. Had a few other 4Runners.

Not sure what package it is. Have all the items in premium package with 19" wheels and middle row bucket seats not the full bench.

RCI fuel tank skid is installed. Got it within 2 weeks of ordering it. It looks very nice.

Looks good. Why'd you go RCI over the other options?
It was on sale, and they are local, about 15 minutes from me.

I am adjusting my build to use local fabricators

Old Flowers road is open

Probably a 2 or 3. Alex plowed out a mudhole going dukes of hazard.

I really like the box idea for the air compressor. I have a bag for mine, but after seeing the box, that’s about to change.
Its nice being able to toss it in back with the dogs and not have to worry about them getting burned or it causing issues. I eventually will get something more powerful hard mounted, but this is great and if i dont need it I can remove it.

I also split my output with a regilator on one side and a short 3'whip on a swivel so I can hook and unhook everything with the lid shut. It makes it much quieter. More for the dogs than me.

Here are some pics with more visible sheet metal from Chidago Canyon north of Bishop, CA. Every inch of this unpaved but well maintained road was a treat.

That road is beautiful. I was there just a couple weeks ago. There is a not-very-ancient rock art site (early 1900s?) right near your peek-a-boo spot, a really nice prospector carving. Did you happen to see it?

I missed it. I do feel like I'll be back though. I really enjoyed the upper canyon a lot and would like to explore some more. Looking at the canyon from Google Earth, I can see why that canyon's been a thoroughfare for millennia. There's a lifetime worth of nooks and crannies to explore.
