Is there a mount for a HighLift?
One thing I would like to see in the swing-out designs is the spare and jerry's to be mounted much lower on the bumper.
It bug's the heck out of me not have a clear rear view out the back window. Referring to my MetalTech rear bumper, but other also, I don't see why the spare couldn't be 6 inches lower.
Well I suppose I could always mount a 225/35R17 for a better rear view!

Yeah they are mounted pretty high which i think will introduce some vibration too.

Hi jack is an option I didn't get.

You can get a mtb hitch carrier adapter (i did). Installer said you can email them and they'll do an actual tow hitch. I saw an option in his shop so can confirm it's done.

Also for anyone curious about exhaust clearance options, cutting off that rear most resonator and just doing a dump exhaust as above, I can tell absolutely 0 difference from stock. My wife also cannot.

pics are very helpful. the side wings seem to be "just" supported by 1/4" strips, but guess that is strong enough. I've been on the fence with this bumper for some time, but the retain cross member version as I have the OEM class 4 hitch, which I do use often. I know, it's going to look strange with all the additional metal hanging down.

re: exhaust- you simply cut it off, or did you add additional bracing somewhere? it's a pretty long length of pipe from what I recall and was wondering about vibrations.

I thought about the crossmember retain, but I don't and don't really want to tow, so opted for the extra clearance and "swap out" some of the weight. My rig is dedicated non daily and also want to keep it light.

I'll check the exhaust some more, but I've driven it ~200mi like this and not a single rattle or anything. Cruised some washboards at 45mph yesterday.

Have the exhaust dump just past the muffler, forward of the rear axle, we can barely hear a little drone when going slow with engine braking down a grade.
Nothing that disrupts the music, ambience or hurts the ears (like subharmonics of some combinations of windows being down at highway speeds).

I maaaybe get a bit extra vibration in the cabin on hard acceleration, but audibly I can't tell the difference. Checked earlier this morning and haven't seen any contact points from shaking, etc. due to lack of rear exhaust hanger. It does have a bit of jiggle... Might try to makeshift a hanger, but it's not bad enough to even be a priority.

i always wondered what happened to this official, lexus sanctioned aftermarket valved exhaust setup. In the comments fmu mentioned 6k all in.

Would probably like even quieter when hooded up, but LOVE the uncorked sound!
Too bad that is all custom... $$$$

Went for a little drive after dropping off some boxes and paper at Loveland recycling.

I'm really surprised more people don't get the joke of the ultra low profile spare for a better view!
Or... It's just a really stupid joke. o_O

I got it. I don't know if you'd even see it back there!

The real fun would be torquing down that spare in an emergency five inches off the ground! 🤣
