I'll see if I can get some instructions for the templates. If not, I might just take a stab at the Amazon one. I can always easily return it if it looks sketchy. More to come on this. I'll order it this weekend. You could always compare cut templates with another solution
It doesn’t feel functional. I had a few blanks on my 4Runner, so it was much easier. I prefer not to use the center overhead area.I don't know on that particular switch. That panel is pretty easy to pop out there to look at the back side.
Have you thought about this?

I also wonder if they are reverse molded from an existing product and that was partly why I thought if you found a match for the cut template you would have some insurance.I'll see if I can get some instructions for the templates. I'm not sure, but this is the one I'm eyeballing.I also wonder if they are reverse molded from an existing product and that was partly why I thought if you found a match for the cut template you would have some insurance.
Thanks! I believe something is already above the diff lock switch on mine though. It’s a ‘22 BlackLine if that matters.@Ohio Nori - Have you already used the blank above CDL? This was the former RCSA switch used on 10-13 models

I just started looking around for a snorkel as well. Kinda like this lenzdesign with color matching option LENZDESIGN SHOP - https://lenzdesign.blogspot.com/p/shop-lenzdesign.html?m=1#!/Toyota-Land-Cruiser-Prado-150-Snorkel-Kit-Lenzdesign/p/152264268/category=0lol I forgot all about that one! I’ll check it out again. I like look of the original snorkels but that new one is pretty cool looking. Thanks for the reminder!
While it looks neat(arsthetically it's my favorite), it is in a position to ingest water and snow, so I am skeptical.I just started looking around for a snorkel as well. I don't know much about quality but it does a good job of blending into the truck.

If my fears are unfounded then I would probably get one. If not, I would probably get a cheapo one, if it's basically the same thing as a $500 one as they are not made out of materials that justify the price IMHO. But I don't know what I don't know and have no personal experience with them.
Also note that you can only have one "Network" selected at a time. I've even tried connecting the TPMS on one phone and the Network A on another phone, but only one would connect to the Bluetooth at a time.Only viewable in a ‘20+ gauge cluster
Are you connecting to the TPMS network? 3rd one down in picture. Unfortunately vendor hasn’t allowed it to be read at same time as Nework A

This is what I currently have on my GX: Amazon.com - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G4F2HD2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1I started a thread yesterday asking for opinions on this snorkel and was directed to the conversation here. I had a similar question about water ingestion. Maybe I will email the company with that question because that's the main reason I haven't bought one already.
I will wait and see if any Father's Day sales or discounts pop up before I buy something. I was going to buy the cheapo on Amazon this weekend, but I just couldn't do it. The Lenzdesign ones look cool, but I prefer the regular style look. Does anyone know if the Dobisons snorkel comes with a cushion backing? It looked like it did in a video I watched, but I'm not 100% sure.I just started looking around for a snorkel as well. Yeah, it's not too big of a deal having to switch. It's not hard to switch on the go. As you said, on the trail, I want to make sure I don't get a flat, and the TPMS view is a good way to monitor the tires. Also note that you can only have one "Network" selected at a time. I've even tried connecting the TPMS on one phone and the Network A on another phone, but only one would connect to the Bluetooth at a time.
I know it's kind of a hassle if you need to switch between the two networks, so I usually just keep the one up that has all my engine temps, etc. and only call up the TPMS when I'm on the trail and aired down. When on the trail, I'm usually more concerned about tire pressure and temp more than trans temps. At least for the wheeling I do.
LenzDesign is on the banned/do not buy vendors list in the GXOR facebook group.Lenz has a pretty terrible reputation over in the 120 platform land. Poor build quality, customer service, etc. It's a shame as they make by far the best-looking snorkels for a GX. FWIW, I'll probably pony up for an ARB Safari and deal with the looks.
I really like the low profile look of the TJM and LensDesign snorkels but it also does look like anything coming up off the windshield can go straight into the snorkel intake, which kind of defeats the purpose. While it looks neat(arsthetically it's my favorite), it is in a position to ingest water and snow, so I am skeptical.
