Planning on getting this one. Reasoning is all the other kennels are crazy high impact and IMO in the lexus it isn't necessary. These tested under a different brand (ruff tough) with the Gunner kennels and rated very high behind a seat back. The failure was in the back of a truck. 2015 Crate Study Results - Center for Pet Safety - https://www.centerforpetsafety.org/test-results/crates/2015-crate-study-results/. Price is reasonable at about half the cost of a Gunner. It's safe enough for what I plan on using it for. Best feature is that they have a slant back for behind the 2nd row and no other kennel features this, so it's a more streamlined fit for our vehicles anyways. Lots of people love them as well which is a plus.

I should clarify, he doesn't ride in the kennel most of time, he's in the second seat, however if we overnight some place he has to have a kennel.
I misread the "folding" part. I have a generic Amazon brand one for travel too, it works great. Soft cover and fits between the crack of the second row and 3rd row when down if you move the second row up 1 notch. Wasn't expensive but works great if your dog isn't a chewer. If he/she is a chewer idk you're kinda limited to a wire one.

I did a second and third row sear delete. I highly recommend. I used generic sound deadeningand ended up cutting a piece of 1/2" sheeting to 42x30. I am going to adjust it though and build something more secure for my spare that will eventually become a drawer/storage cubby.
My rear rubber floor mat was a used husky I got from ebay and I have cut it to fit after the delete. It's what's my tire is sitting on then there is a 18x42 piece of plywood on top of the tire that acts as a shelf. I have two 70 lb sound bags to the passenger side and will probably need to get 2 more as I probably should not have also put in the 1.5" lift spacers.

No worries haha. Yeah he doesn't chew hard things, just soft things. Its actually an ingestion issue more than a chewing issue. He is kennel trained, and even spends time in it voluntarily, I worry with soft covers on crates he will nibble at the soft kennel, (its board chewing).

I have really liked their typical front and second row digital fit mats, and the new version "Floorliner HP" does have knobs on the bottom to help hold them in place, and they do feel a bit thicker and more robust then the original liners in my GX470 and Honda Fit. I am sure some of us have higher standards, or a lower threshold for the performance of certain items, but sometimes I really question what certain companies were thinking when designing products. Like the weathertech cargo mat. The bottom was almost perfectly smooth, and there really isn't anything that would hold it in place. Then the whole 3rd row use issue, it's like WTF! Your product testers should be a family of 5 with dogs and an active life. Not desk jockey's who never even use the 3rd row or haul damaging cargo.

Being around my mother in law, I am convinced the only thing people put in the back of their SUVs is groceries. Makes it hard for me to believe that most people pay attention to the performance of their mats. Not justifying it, I just tend to believe I am a use case outlier.

That's why I went the used route from Amazon as I knew longterm it was going to get "customized" saved me about 30% of the price. When I did the same thing for the 4Runner someone had returned their old floor mats and I had not checked the package when I wrapped it for Christmas. We both laughed our asses off when the motor trend floor mats fell out.

Can someone perform a quick sanity check for me?
We have been battling a tire drone related steering column rattle. It comes and goes, everything I do solves it intermittently and then it reproduces. There is a black plastic over under the knee panel that covers the under side of the dash. When removed there is U joint that joins the column to one of the intermediate shafts. There is a bolt that is known to wear and then create a horrid rattle on other Lexus products. Mine has a lock washer on it, that I am almost certain from looking at diagrams shouldn't be there. Additionally there is knurling on the shank of the bolt to prevent rotation.
Can someone if they've got time confirm that bolt isn't supposed to have a lock washer? I can post pictures later.

Given that messing with the bolts of the top intermediate shaft and affect it I am leaning toward some accelerated wear from the column being out of place with the snap ring moved down on the main shaft.
Plenty of downtravel if I jack the front up. I made some adjustments to low speed compression and attempted to loosen front rebound a smidge. It looks like the passenger front rebound adjuster may be stuck and that's maxing out rebound or causing it to stick. Either way that shock is rebounding too slowly which seems to initiate my problem. I discovered this in a series of highly scientific tests in which I drove through a former industrial alley by my favorite brewery that has a bunch of giant potholes in the middle. Hitting them with the driver's side tires was fine at like ~15mph. Going back the other way and hitting them at 15 with the passenger side would start bucking and basically felt like the pass front would tip into the second hole instead of the suspension drooping into it. If I crawled through with the passenger side, everything stayed level and you could feel the tires drooping into the holes.
The Dobinson's MRA's have an allen head on top of the front coilovers for rebound adjustment. They come with extra/optional little knobs that can be attached so you can adjust front rebound without tools. On the GX, the optional knobs are quite close to the fender and it looks like maybe on the passenger side that knob is actually smushed against the fender. I'm going to ask Exit Offroad and/or Dobinson's about it but I'm hoping I can just loosen the top mount to free up the adjuster and use an allen key.
I was just reading up on rebuilding shocks and one of the videos or articles I red, perhaps on the T4R forums a guy described that a lot of shocks that are suppose to be pre charged come from the factory low. Not sure if yours have nitrogen in them or another gas or oil that the levels could be checked. It does seem to require a few specialized tools, specifically to check the pressure with a no leak chuck of some sort.
