Anyone have some money burning a hole in their pocket? I know I'm beyond tempted right now.

Made my own!

I wonder how pissed my wife would be if I took out the 60% portion of the second row for this…

At first glance this sounds way overpriced, until you factor in how much it would cost to make something equivalent on your own, then it's just expensive, but not unreasonable.

Figure at least 30-40 hours of build time (not even including the design time), $500+ in tools and another few hundred in material, then this option doesn't looks that bad for someone who just doesn't have the resources to do it themselves.

The floor port access is a great idea for easy access to gear without having to open the rear door and slide out drawers! Makes it easy when during the night you need something, just roll over and pull the cover!

Not everyone has the skills or are even willing to pick up a saw, so they pay. Look at the TLC $300,000 land cruisers.

I paid 1K more and have a Truckvault that has a drawer that has push button programmable lock and a storage hutch in front that holds all my recovery equipment. Features of the Truckvault Why TruckVault | TruckVault - https://truckvault.com/about

I had mine custom built of my design based off of a platform I built for my daughters 4Runner.

I think the 3rd-row piece is overpriced, but the 2nd row seems a bit more involved.

@Washingtontaco didn't your Truckvault stop at the second row? I thought you stored something else in front of it when you deleted the second row.

Yes there is a hutch in front of the drawer at the 2nd row passenger seat area behind the front passenger seat. I stow my recovery gear in there. You can see the hutch lid in this picture.

Hey!
I’m new to my 2023 GX.this is my first post on this forum. I’m Learning a lot…. Highly considering taking on this project as it makes the most sense to me.
A - did you take the 3rd row out or did you leave it?
B - did you secure this to the floor or is it floating? Does it bounce around on bumps? How did you make sure the portion above the 2nd row is level with the rear.
C - would you please take some more photo from different angles. Any tips/measurments on how to do it… what would you keep and what would you change?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Just going to chime in and give my 2 cents worth:
A) Generally you'll need to remove third row.
B) Yes! You always want it secured! For all the obvious reasons you noted.
