anyone ever experience this? was at the dealer today for an oil change (really b/c my car was filthy and needed a wash) and when i got in, it felt a little lower, but i didn't notice from the outside b/c i was talking to the service guy (note, he's a buddy of mine so i wasn't paying attention to the car so much as our convo). the rear felt a little low, then every bounce was more and more jostling. i pulled over after a half mile and was almost nauseous from the rear hopping all over the place. the bags were completely empty.
U-turn and head straight back. we tried to cycle the ride-height system, the compressor was working, and you could see some minor adjustment being made, but nothing significant. mind you it was perfectly fine when i took it in.
another service guy who is a former tech 'team leader' (whatever that means) came out to help. he said that if the GX is up on the lift and they don't turn the AHC 'off' (never even noticed the little kill switch right by the controls) and put the key in the ignition when the truck is off the ground, the computer gets confused, and doesn't fill the bags, then when they set it back down, there's a valve that can fold over and keep them from filling.
*update, while i was typing my buddy called me and said that the right rear airbag is leaking. not sure how that happens under their watch b/c it was fine when i took it in. hmmm.
Coil conversion recommendations?
