Recently purchased a 2025 GX 550 Overtrail. planning on installing 275/70r18’s and I would like to level it out (remove the rake). I don’t want to change the suspension.

Other than the Wescott Preload Collar Lift Kit, are there any other options for leveling?

Thx!

You have a few options, do you care how you remove the rake?
A 3/8" spacer on top of the front shocks will raise you up ~3/4" you can also find some 2024 GX550 OT rear springs that will lower the rear an inch.

I've done premature suspension replacements on 2 trucks and regretted my choices so I wanted to keep my 2025 OT+ relatively stock for a while before ripping stuff out. I couldn't stand the stock rake so I did the Peak Suspension 1.25 inch front leveling kit. It's exactly what I wanted. No discernable change in ride, inexpensive, and gives the vehicle the more level stance I was looking for.

Appreciate the replies. Same here on the premature suspension changes. The Peak Suspension kit seems like a great option. Great looking rig BTW! Are those 275's?

285/75 17s (so essentially 34s). +25 offset wheels. No trimming, no rub.

Is that Earth or is it wrapped a tan color?
It was earth with the black roof, which I didn't like, so wrapped the whole vehicle in ppf. Color is claimed to be sandstorm.

I bought the Peak leveling inserts but don't know how to install due to the overtrail e-kdss stabilizer bar. Did you do the install yourself? Did you remove the stabilizer bar completely in order to remove the struts??

Sorry, I didn't do the install so I'm not sure what was involved.

FWIW, I've run airlift bag inserts on my 100, my 80 and my former TJ Wrangler. 5 lbs when not towing or carrying extra weight and then add enough pressure to return it back to level when you have a load on board. The bags in my 100 have been there for 15 years and several hundred thousand miles. No ill effects whatsoever. Adam
