Morning all!
Now that I’m no longer tied down to all my time being used to planning our event I’m branching out to getting to visit others! Planning my first ever attendance this year for GSMTR and had an unfortunate question.
I have a 22 year old who grew up wheeling Toyotas with me and for some odd reason rebelled and bought a jeep. If it happened to make it out of NJ would he be allowed to drive his thing at the event so we could be together?

Thanks!
Steve

There are usually a couple jeeps that slip in there. The radio banter will be significant but I wouldn't imagine there would be an actual problem.

Steve,
It has been an open TLCA event for years to allow for this very case. Safe travels and enjoy your trip.

Steve,
Alternate perspective for your consideration;

Deep down your son might be a dedicated Land Cruiser enthusiast and did not rebell. Rather, he appreciated that he is starting out and will be driving his vehicle through the salty winters with no garage or adequate resources to maintain a beloved Land Cruiser. Rather than turn a Land Cruiser into a rusty POS, he bought a Heep as his disposable transportation for now. i.e., You raised your son better than you appreciated. :cool:

Awesome, thanks all!

We would be glad to have you.
This may be our biggest ever event as the word gets out we take any 4 wheel drive Toyota and their brothers from other mothers! Register as soon as you can!
This year the raffle is to benefit Fisher House of Tennessee, Operation Tackle Box and The Blue Ribbon Coalition.

Have never been, but this just caught my eye. Might have to register, looking into things now.
C'mon out. Trails are easy to gnarly. You choose and there are guides. There is a brewery nearby and the prison to tour if you are done with wheeling. This year's raffle is going to be epic!

@SteveNJ This TJ has been at the event the past 7 years. It may not be this year, but your son and his JEEP are definitely welcome to join us.

Thanks all for the replies.
We both registered and are looking forward to it!
