Group ARB bull bar buy for US Pacific NW-ers

I'm going to try to arrange a group buy for 80 series folks willing to drive to Seattle to pick their bumpers up at the warehouse this Fall before deer-car season starts in earnest up here. I plan to purchase 2 of them myself and I'm estimating the price I should be able to achieve at somewhere around $600 for the non-winch bar. That's without taxes and I *believe* if I/we purchase from an out of state vendor there will be no sales taxes. I don't have a vendor picked out yet. These will fit 91-97 models.

I'd like to know if anyone else is interested as the numbers may give me some bargaining power. Please indicate if you want the winch or non winch bar and what state you're from. I'm going to assume the vendor will take normal forms of payment for your planning purposes, and the purchase will be made around the end of October.

I'll plan a family weekend trip over there to visit the great aquariums and museums, but it would be fun to pick a time to meet at the warehouse so a bunch of 80 guys could say hello (and maybe have an ARB install party in the parking lot!!).

ARB is located in the Seattle area, so that's probably where part of the savings would come in, if we could pick it up and incur no shipping costs.

Cool! I actually didn't know that ARB is located there now. Maybe its worth the trip if Gas don't go out anymore. Driving my 80 a month cost close to $1000, but I love to drive it around in the dirt on my way to work.

I might be intrested in selling the bullbar I already have. I'm not sure what brand, but if the ARB comes through I'll consider selling you the one I have for a good and fair price.

This may be a mute post as I would never make it to Seattle but I would be in for a non-winch model if they will ship to SE Idaho. I never get stuck enough to need anything more than a poor mans wench. I need one with the hoops as we do see a fair amount of strikes from September through March.

I'm with E on this. Great price to offset shipping would probably work with the spousal unit if your vendor of choice was up for it. You're going to pay shipping one way or the other. IIRC, when 4WheelParts had a recent 'employee price sale' the winch bumper was around $650 or so. Their normal internet price is just over $700 I think. CA residents add tax and shipping.

Better have a large trailer to tow them. The boxes are huge. Before I found mine on ebay I searched around a lot and found them shipped for around 600. Check out these links:
