broke down today 1994 lc. No gears revs like in neutral and grinds going into park also rolls like neutral when in park. Put in low with cdl on no change. There was no clunk or bang when it started and I checked fluids all good (I stay on top of maintenance). I have searched and haven’t found my particular issue. Just a bunch about drive flanges. Going to be starting diag after work. Any ideas are appreciated

A Quick Look through the FSM points to a problem with the shift linkage. I hope this helps.

Slight update on a lift with tcase locked axles spin, when shifting through gears rpm changes so seems to be going in gear. It almost seems no connection between trans and tcase

That’s tag on trans says 4h 0075 which trans is that?

If you have a 94 then you have the A442 unless there is a transitional month that some of the models got the next generation transmission, which is the A343

transmission is smoked. If any one has a line on an A442 in nj forsale this weekend let me know.
an A442 for sale this weekend in NJ would be unicorn level stuff, LOL

There's one in GA for cheap....

not if you start now...

I'm picking up one next weekend to swap into my '94 while I rebuild it. It'll be available in December, if you can wait. If you can't, @slow95z has one, but it's in GA.

...but you can't have the one he's pulled for me ;)

I have a few in ga but shipping would be difficult

I believe it’s the output shaft. I’m going to be taking it out tomorrow I will up date once I have the unit on the bench.

Was able to do some work on it. dumped the fluid in transmission and pulled pan everything looked good. I moved on to pulling the tc once I got it out after some fighting I found the shaft is snapped. So that is where my problem is.

That's definitely your problem.

The good news is that shaft is not uncommon. The bad news is you're going to have to buy a transmission to get one.

EDIT:
I looked at the photo you posted too quickly.
