Hey i got a 60 for my 16 and im tryin to get some exterior mods so if any one has any suggestions send please and on a resonable budget.

60 for a 16 year old? Body armor, bumpers, sliders, maybe a full exoskeleton. You will wreck this truck! Good insurance?!?! Good thing 60s are slooow!

AAA membership. Exterior mods? trail pinstripes.

already done my dad got that for me, and he said i have to do exterior

and i have good insurance and i am very cautious when driving it so no jokes please

You have got to give us a better description. What did your dad get for you?

hey got me all new interior and the system is good and fixed all probs i guess you could give me ideas all i can say is no so go ahead

If you don't like jokes you're on the wrong site! :flipoff2:

But good bumpers and sliders will save your rig from serious trail carnage. If you're not always wrecking your truck then you're not wheeling hard enough!

i was messin dude

what kind of budget will that run me

thats cool you do that yourself

HQ bullbar 700+; with winch 1300+
Rear Bumper 500-1400
Sliders 500-600ish

Knowing you can ram rocks without destroying the sweet style of a 60.....priceless.

Prices are estimates.

Search for ARB, Kaymar, Safari Guard, or browse around to find some of the sweet custom stuff board members are fabbing. You can often get custom stuff thats way nicer than prefabbed for less money.

thanks for the brands too and for the info and true

i was warned that if i change the size of my tires from like a 27 im assuming to a 31 it would slow my 60 down even more whats yalls expirence or knowlege

and if anyone has found any custom stuff in the pasted can you send the name of the person too

depending on what your truck is like, here are some ideas to start with:
1) new tires. in my experience, even on really saggy stock suspension you can easily go with 31's
2) new suspension. then you can get even bigger tires.
3) some good driving lamps: hella, ipf, piaa
4) bullbar, new rear bumper with recovery points, sliders (depending on how much trail time you are planning on spending)

Changing tire size effects your overall gear ratio. Most people regear their diffs to compensate. I ran 31s with stock gears no problem, but went to 4.56s when I went to 33s (will cover 35s too).

Learn to use the search. Almost any question you could have has been answered already. Instant gratification.

I had a custom rear bumper with tire carrier fabbed at Rock Solid in Hemet, CA. Lance at ironpigoffroad does bumpers and sliders. sleeoffroad the same. Custom work is better done locally so pieces can be custom-fitted to your truck, but thats not to say a lot of the bolt on stuff isn't killer. Where are you located?
