I'm also curious about that orange car......and let's just say what we're all thinking, all the cruisers that took part in that rally are basically cheating lol.. jk hope everyone had a good time.

Really hoping to get something like this together in the Flathead area this fall. Will be relying on Airhead Nut to motivate the troops

How did the rally go, great success?
I felt it went really well. A couple of small hiccups from an organizer standpoint, but overall I think it was a great success.

On the contestants side it was great! Definitely could tell lots of effort was put in. Thanks for it!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yes very fun and excellent event management!
Thanks for the kind words!

Looking forward to doing another, not sure if our schedules will allow for one this fall but that is my hope. We learned a lot from this one, planning another should be a lot more straightforward.

is that an orange VW Thing in the pic?
It is indeed! One could hardly get a more basic vehicle. I've driven it a bit, can't help but grin from ear to ear the whole time!

It is a 1974 VW Thing, a friend uses it as a daily driver in the Kalispell area during the summers.

I would love to put on another rally in the Flathead this fall, hopefully my brother and I can clear enough time in our schedules to make that happen.

there is/was a yellow one running around Helena in the warmer months, haven't seen it this year yet

I think there's a green one running around Bozeman during the warm months.

Pretty sure the username was based on that sticker, his HDJ81 is a JDM cold spec model with heated seats, fuel heater and radiator shutter.
Well that's pretty awesome, gotta love those cold spec Toyotas
