Grease extra life into your Cv's (1 Viewer)

All,
check out these CV's with built in grease nipple and RV ,has anybody tried them out ? Thoughts please.

i have been told not to put much grease in cvs and also told to pack the sh1t out of them with grease

But they have weakened the hell out of it with all the drillings.

These make greasing simpler...had them on my gasser 80.
Grease is cheap and excess pressure will normally be expelled via the felt seals.
You can always pull the square plug and monitor the cavity if you are worried.

As for drilling out the hole, small price to pay. Our underground fleet has been using this system for years, local supplier drills the birf on site, otherwise find a machine shop or drill yourself.

I read something as far as engineering once that the center hole doesn't really weaken it.
