This is 5% all around with 20% on the fronts. There's a little contrast from the "bronzed" factory tint in the back, but it's only noticeable enough to make it seem lighter in the front than it really is. (That's a good thing when it comes to the cops). What do you all think?

Looks good! I keep thinking of doing the same. What kind of wheels are those? What size?

Blingolicious.

You say "good for the cops", but at what point is it illegal...?

That limo tint don't fly around here.

And wow, that's what a nice stock clean LC looks like again... :o

mac, yes it does...................................... my truck has the exact same 5% tint on the front and darkend the backs to 5 and my front window is done too with a light tint. Ok so ive only gotten stopped for tint once, going into the midtown tunnel but its uber 1337!

35% on the front is the limit legally, I put on 20% (plus whatever stock is). It's probably around like 15% total by comparison to my car.

It's stock and clean for now, but not for too much longer. I just sold my 4Runner (wheeling rig) and hope to beef this thing up a little with some sliders and a little lift so I can enjoy the desert again. I have the stock wheels in my garage waiting for some mud/MTX tires.

Yeah, it's not as dark as a would prefer. When I'm actually driving the TLC around though, I probably don't need the attention from cops. I'm usually only driving it when the wifey and I go out.;) My car on the other hand is double limo all around and 50% on the windshield.:grinpimp:

Looks good, let's see some more pics of the SC. :)

kyoso, i dont know if your on Club Lexus, but rising sun is in the hospital right now due to an accident yesterday.

Yeah, I believe on SUVs/Wagons all the windows behind the front two are exempt(at least in this state) from tint laws. So Cops really can only bother you for the front two, which has been my situation.
SC looks clean tho, 3 or 400?

YEAH! I SAW THAT THIS MORNING!!! I hope he recovers OK. I have the same sceen name on CL. There's another example of how well the SC is engineered. Those are some serious pictures of his accident. I've seen countless serious accidents online involving people in SC's and they always walk away without really serious injuries. The cars are always ruined, but the passenger cabin is always intact.

BTW Arizona is the same way. You can do anything to any of the windows except driver/passenger (35%max) and the windshield.

Here's some older ones, I don't have to many "good" ones but here they are. It's a '97 SC400...:grinpimp:

was kind of crazy, i helped him get out of the car!

SC looks great next to the LC. Black is the color of choice!

Good thing he had some friends around. Seems like a scary time for everyone. Could you tell if it was his seatbelt that wrecked his chest, or was it the steering wheel?

i would assume seatbelt.....i dont know if he had it on or not but its pretty safe to say if he wasnt wearing it he would have put his head thru the windshield. Lets see if eric closes the thread due to offtopic posts, hah.

I'll take the SC400 too. Always loved that ride.

If and when we ever get more space, SC430 and SL500 is on the top of the list...
