Update: had some points new in the box from PO, got ready to put them in and unclipped the dizzy cap...thought I would try it one last time...tried to start it, heard it turn over and a electrical clicking...re-clipped the dizzy cap and tried again, and it fired right up....so now I am thinking it was just the points were still to wet. :bounce: got to LOVE the Land Cruiser...now tomorrow, off to the car wash and get some of the mud and other crap off, then back home to change all fluids, wipe down and wax the interior and re-install my drain plugs in the floor/side walls that I had removed :D.

And I will keep the extra set of points in the glovebox.

Man I love this :)

All fluids changed, rear diff, tranny and motor milky..the rest clean but changed anyway.

Seems to be running as good as ever, still a few things to put on the truck...they are on the list and will be done as funds allow.

Let's hear "said list"!

Alrighty.

In order of importance to me:

This bumper (unless someone has a better idea).
MAF 4+Plus Deluxe Capped Winch Bumper FJ40

My old Warn 8274 (need to get it cleaned up and new power leads, lugs and line).

Power steering ( I have a FJ60 gearbox and pump, need bracket to mount pump and hoses, and someone with skill :D that I can help, I mean er, help me).

I would like to get my Aisan carb rebuilt (I have the kit, just no float yet. Hard to find) and installed to replace the Rochester 2 bbl) I think I have all of the hard linkages to the pedal as well...I have an original pedal.

I also have a dizzy from a 78 which is electronic I would like installed...needs to be cleaned up and someone that has a clue or me a while reading to hook it up correctly.

New door seals all the way around OEM if I can still get them.

Then, the front locker, which I am thinking of putting another Aussie in the front as well.

I have a longer list, but this is the short one.

Brad

I was putting on trail miles while you were on the couch....at least on the couch until I called for you and Greg to come recover me:D the other night...jeeeshhh what do you want.
