Hi All: Camelback Toyota is moving into our new facility soon right down the street from where we are now on Camelback Road. We will soon be on the NW corner of 16th St and Camelback Rd.

We are going to have an special invitation type Grand Opening and are looking for some restored Toyotas that we can put on display.

There will be a restored 1958 Toyota Toyopet there already. The idea is a vehicle that is mostly stock-ish for presentation. There would be some kind of compensation available for those willing to allow it to be shown for approx. 4 hours the evening of June 24th.

Ive seen a couple real nice restored 40's, and the recent 55 with ambulance doors on the site that would be awesome specimens. Ive seen others in our club but cant pinpoint whos they were.

If youd be interested in showing your awesome cruiser (or any type of older Toyota) please let me know!

Thanks, Murf

OK well I guess I'm out then. I had Sherry all convinced. :D Did you see the mural at the new store? Has a FJ25 on it.

Did you find my key yet?

I can conduct demonstration roll-overs in a thrashed 1985 4-Runner if you like... ;)

Dang Man! you ever keep all 4 on the ground at the same time? Maybe :hhmm: a "interactive" section...we can bring in some boulders and dirt :hillbilly:

Nice Pics - truly pushing the edge

That FJ25 has spent it;s whole life in AZ. It was restored in the nineties and I am slowly bringing back to stock. While I haven't spent my whole life in AZ I have been here since 1971.

What about the 85 SR5? Pretty close to stock.. I would be interested if you'd be. Could bring the 40 down too, it has a stock t-case and axles?

Sweet - can you PM me some pics. Is your 40 road ready? That thing is Barret-Jackson material even if theres only a few stock parts left :D.

If my body swap takes way longer than I expect I might be there with a BJ60.

Just received my 4x4 labs frombe arms, all I have to do is thread my own tie rod and drag link, then it will be back on the road.

Frenchy's Toyopet is super cool. You should try to get that guy in Founatin Hills with the SICK 82(?) hilux. I believe Mark Sahr knows him. John (LITP) has a nice collection of fj25s. That white one should surely be present.

When is this supposed to happen? I could bring my 40. It is mostly Toyota except the engine and trans.....I could just keep the hood closed. I also have a 1970 55. It is all original except the crappy repaint. Could send you pix for approval.

I don't know the guy with the Hilux in Fountain Hills, but he works at the Finishing Touch body shop in Fountain Hills. He's been to a club meet. He also has a real nice grey 80 series. But you're right that Hilux is scary nice.

Yeah BMAN, I remember you have known Frenchy for many years. His Toyopet is in amazing shape. Hopefully John can PM me about his FJ25. That would be great to have there.

You shouldnt have any problem selling that for top $ to the right buyer.
