I can't figure out whether or not I want to keep these flaps or get the ones without the slot for the running boards. Who knows I might take them off if I decide I don't like either option.

Nice. Just think, 5 years ago there weren't options for the 80, now we have choices. 
I see, thanks. I pulled of my running boards a couple weeks ago and the mud flaps with the slot looked a bit funny with no slider there. I was hoping that either the hanna's or the slee sliders would fit into the slot but that doesn't appear to be the case. Oh well, I just ordered the slotless mud flaps! Thanks for the info.
Had to reread what you wrote a couple of times. You had regular mud flaps and OEM running boards prior to the sliders on your '95? First glance, I thought you'd gone nuts with your trimming! I just had the front cap to the running boards on my '94. Cdan does stock the regular mud flaps. If you don't want flaps at all Christo has front caps. See my thread on 'Time for Sliders'. Christo posted a pic of them. Not on his site yet.

They do but only a little. Here is a picture of Slee's with a trimmed slotless mud flap on the left compared with the ones just posted.Brentbba said:
