I didn't quite get around to installing them today, due to the weather, and time, but I took some mock up pics as teasers!!

They are a touch taller then my 285/75/16 bfg at's, but the pics make them look a lot bigger since they are not really mounted!!

Anyway here's a couple teasers!!

They look great.:clap::D

Kupp those look great, and the black wheels look really good.

I think those window grates are to keep people from getting into his stuff but i'll let him answer cause thats just a guess...

Thanks and yes, to keep peoples paws off my sh*t and to keep my 3 year olds hands in the rig. Also so my son can have a visual of what his life will look like if he screws up!! LOL!! I do get a lot of looks, and it makes it look more military like, so I like them!!

I'm going to get them installed tonight, although it's snowing and blizzard out, I'm going to get it done!!

More pics tomorrow!!

I dont know if youre going to like these tires in winter conditions man... I have a set on my tacoma (33x10.5x15) and they are freaking scary on any kind of ice. Hell I cant even get going from a stop on ice without putting it in 4x.

Maybe the 80's awd will make them tolerable?

Good luck and drive carefully.

D

The black wheels with skinny with mud terrains will add to the militant don't ____ with it look!

For winter driving it might be worth it to get them syped (sp?).

Here are the mounted pics!! Been driving on them for about a week, and the air-soft pellets are doing perfect!!!!

Overall height of the truck is a bit higher then 6'10"

A little skinny, but I might remove the flares! More then happy with the tires, but the AT's are a bit better!!

It's not that stinkbug, it's on a slope, and I have the swing-out off right now!!

You get the point!!

Darren,
Thanks for the pics and measurement. With the rack, that would never make it through my current garage door. I think I could make it work without siderails on the rack with some remodeling.

Intrigued by the look. Curious about the performance. Just happen to be driving into Sudbury in the Cow this evening, so I can see why Darwink is thinking about his previous experience today.

Even though I've had my doubts about the worn Michelin M&S stockers on the truck right now, they've performed just fine in the very mixed conditions of snow and slush coming through Michigan on Boxing Day and across 17 from the Soo this afternoon. But I think the drive would have been much the same with MTs, because everything has been either snow or slush.

Where I've had problems with MTs is with glaze ice, either from being polished by plowing and packing by traffic or when glazed by an ice storm. There was some of the icing from the storm over this direction we saw on the weather TV in the Soo last night. Nothing like that on the road for us today.

No doubt you'll get some snow under those treads and a chance to give us more feedback.

into sudbury? small world man.

Damn those things are pizza cutters! I like em though!

Yep, just passing through. We circumnavigated Lake Superior for our honeymoon last May. Enjoyed the vibe north of of the border, so decided to circumnavigate Lake Huron to test the new truck in the family. Headed for Toronto tomorrow, but hoping to see a little history around town before heading to Toronto on Monday afternoon.
