So Mike, was the engine tune-up data sticker thingy on the other side still there? I have one valve cover (on a '59) that is different than the later repro'ed blue stickers....it is larger in size, silverish, the typeface is different but descrbes nearly the same specifications

Mine has it, but it is so dirty that it cant be read. I touched it with a rag and it wiped the print off. So I won't be able to use that I'm afraid. I'll look for alternate means.

I guess my two oldest 25s must of had the F120 engines. One has a 2F now the other one is missing the the head, valve cover, manifolds and the rest of the stuff off the top of the engine. But both have the front cradle engine mount. They also have the early frame that's different in the front, tall tool/battery box and the black VIN plate. They are both production and titled 1960. So I'm guessing the chance from the F120 to the F135 was a mid year change in 1960.

I'd say that if it has the early frame, early engine mounts, and tall tool box, then it should have had an F120.

and the strangest combo fuel filter/fuel pump assembly.

I couple of my 25s came with that fuel pump, one is a F120 and the other is a F135. It is smaller in diameter with the glass bowl on top with a strainer. Both still have the glass bowl filter inline before the pump. Does the one that Paul Decker has have the handle for the manual priming? Mine didn't.

And I thought the fuel pumps would be worth a couple of hunderd dollars apiece Maybe I should put them on Ebay. There is always someone over paying for stuff there

paul's has a standard looking flat w/ primer fuel pump, but a bowl (glass) is attached on up stream side of pump. If'n I had a scanner I could take the 1957 image from a parts book.
