We've been watching for a good car/little truck for my daughter to drive when she gets her license and we are hoping to fine a nice economical and safe ride. 25+ mpg would be nice. I just picked up a 22re powered celica but it has a smashed convertible top and some body rust. I picked it up to either fix or swap the motor (115k)into a decent truck or ? The plans for that aren't set in stone and we aren't in a hurry..(as usual)

I saw a nice tacoma 2wd for 3+ on cl but I want to keep it a little cheaper.. I saw a 4wd 86 in A-land for 650 with a bad motor but I'd like to keep in the ez on gas 2wd mode..

I went to move the new victim (convertible with a busted top) and it started hailing, covered the car, then it started pouring and the rumbling thunder started going off overhead and the wind kicked up super fast, I heard something howling/screaming- it may have just been the trees in the wind, some loud crashing, cracking sounds muffled by the pounding rain and wind and then the power went out- it was out for several hours.. CRAZY..

There was a pretty solid line of T-storms that rolled through stretching from Glide all the way down to Mt. Ashland, the strongest on the map was from Williams over to Wilderville. No hail here in CP but heavy rain for several hours for sure.

FYI for everyone they are saying it is going to get bad again around 0200 Tuesday (tomorrow) untill early morning again on Wednesday. Up to 50 mph winds. Northern Cali/SO Oregon.

Pretty sad a stock 4.5 I-6 get 10-14 in an 80... If I had the beans I'd throw a vortec in an 80 just so i coud spin all 4!
