Once again looking for a little advice. I found a 2001, 100 series Land Cruiser for sale with 62,000 miles on it. Lease return with records of all service. Everything looks good. I am having the rig delivered to Slee Offroad to put on the OME suspension and the mandatory ARB / Slee bumpers, fog lights, sliders, larger tires etc....They should have it on Monday. So this is all good news.
What I am looking for is some advice as to what kind of other mechanical service I should look to have done besides replacing all the fluids, replacing the serp belt and checking the brake pads. It looks like with the miles on it, it is unecessary to change water pump, timing belt, wheel bearings or anything of that magnitude.....Right?
I'm I missing anything? This is the Land Cruiser that is going to Seward Alaska, far away from anyone with the knowledge that the Slee crew has.
Might as well spend it now as this thing is getting expensive already....
