Got 80 Series Caster Correction? (1 Viewer)

Finished the Slee caster correction plate installation last night around 7PM replacing all of the radius arm bushings, all pressed out easily with @RET2's 20 ton press (Thanks Ralph!), with a little MAP torch heat where needed on the original frame end bushings. The yellow offset bushings (OME maybe?) were cracked and in poor condition to sAY the least. Torqued all the bolts up this morning. Which was a much harder job than anticipated; the driver side was easy peasy, but the passenger side top two single bolts and rear plate bolt, wow!! Getting them torqued to 127 ft-lbs was damn near impossible, no way to get sockets on them and had to use crowsfoot wrenches on the torque wrench. No wonder the installation videos on the internet only ever show the driver side...

It was disappointing to see damage to the radius arm bushing holby whatever shop the PO used to install the Icon Stage 3 suspension. Clearly they failed at pressing the bushings out and went for the hacksaw or sawzall and the drilling out methodologies to remove the old bushings.

So far the truck feels like it drives better than pre-correction, but it's subtle. And yes there's a slight increase in front drive shaft U-joint noise which Christo warned me of, but the noise is mainly when at highway speed and transitioning between loaded and unloaded. Maybe double-cardans in the future?
