Headed up to visit some friends in Woodland this weekend, and as much as my buddy wants me to join him for a rousing game of Call of Duty (where's that barfing icon???), I'd rather hit the trails, and see if I can get him to join me.
Anyone know any good trails close to Woodland (within an hour's drive or so) that a mostly stock pickup can romp on?

Cowtown isn't that far out, may be worth looking at.
aye, it is a cruel fate to be visiting a land with no hills or mountains.
Thanks Ross!

none that i know of.

Pairrie City OHV (Folsom/Rancho Cordova area) is going to be about the only thing near Woodland. Just check to make sure there is not an event going on (VORRA, MX, etc...)

thats not within an hour of woodland though.

Head up to 20 towards Clearlake make a right into the Mendocino National forest. Also look for Indian Valley Reservoir.
That's a ways out, but I do like the Mendo Nat'l.
I'll have to visit in the future.

gotta love the north coast for sure!!!

Nothing else like it.
Every time I contemplate moving out of state, I suddenly realize that I'd lose access to the amazing environments up here.
Being in Woodland right now makes me realize how much better places with hills are.

We tons of crappy laws and guidelines. Bla bla bla.
But where else in the us can have so many types of scenery within a couple hours of each other.
