Didn't know where to stick this question.
What's a decent, but not $150 Snap-on, tire gauge?
Are the stick types any good? Spring loaded or no?
Dial type?
Digital?

Any decent catalog or online store will have quality gauges. Outfits like Summit, Jegs, Longacre Racing, etc. Snap-on and Mac both have some decent lower priced gauges for less than $40. I prefer normal dial gauges but there are accurate stick type gauges. Certainly stay away from the junk at the local parts chain. There are quality digital units out there but most I've found are more spendy. There is no reason to spend more than $30 on a good quality gauge. Find a buddy that has a quality gauge you can check his gauge against yours and if there is little or no difference keep what you have.

What are you asking regarding spring loaded?

The stick gauges that spring back to zero when you remove them from the valve stem vs. the ones that stay at the reading (like the super cheap ones Discount tire gives away).

I like that ARB one. Thanks for the link. Added to my Christmas list!

I use a motorcycle tire gage, it uses a dial readout and goes up to like 20 psi, perfect for my needs, I run 5psi. They make ones that have larger pressure capacity. I think it was like $20 from a local motorcycle shop.

I've done a bit of business with these guys - they are apparently the outlet for the mfr, G.H. Meiser. They make good presents, too. I have quite a variety for my vehicles. The offset ones works nice on my bike.

I carry these 2:
ARB505 - ARB's Tyre Deflator / Pressure Guage Parts and Accessories
POWERTANK - CO2 Air Systems

One to deflate, one to inflate. Love both products.
