As many of you may or may not know, I am attempting to repair my 60s body to keep water from intruding into my truck. I am not one who likes to do a half assed job but, want near stock as possible the look of the repair.

But as we speak, I walked to a body specialist who made me a sheet metal patch that will run most of the length of inner wheel well and will replace the 2-3 inches that corroded at the top lip that was spot welded to the inner wall.

He did a good job using a shrinker streatcher. We discussed of putting in a lab joint bend into it but my vise grip/lap joint pliers only do strait sheet metal. To bad there was a pair of pliers with replacable varius radius lap joint dies to stick in it. We discussed but joint, but that takes more work.

So I decided just for now, a simple panel patch where the new sheet metal lays on top of the old, and spot welds are placed int it. Its not pretty, bit keep the water coming in, and the floor jack handles falling out of the wheel well "true story".

All this would not be such a big headache, only if I knew of several suppliers of wheel wells and quarter panels in the southern US. If I had a big batch of cruiser web site emails or, if there was a large land cruiser search web site that searches for all parts from all used part suppliers, it would save us all a huge amount of time trying to find these, and other elusive parts.

I am looking for the left inner/outer wheel well and possibly quarter panel.

Right quarter panel and outer wheel wheel.

I will show pictures of my work as I progress.

Perhaps I should have reworded the title?

I am looking for multiple sources of used body panles. If anyone could turn this into a sticky, that would help us all!!
