Good place for daytrip within a couples hours of NYC? (1 Viewer)

Hi, guys. I've been active in the tech forums but am new to the clubhouse area of Mud. I am picking up my nephew in NYC tomorrow for an offroading daytrip in my Cruiser. Problem is I'm not sure where to go for the trip. I've been to the Pine Barrens, so that's one option. Any other options people could recommend? Truck is good for pretty much anything; I just want to avoid narrow trails with scratchy branches, which scraped me up pretty bad at the Pine Barrens last time.

2. Long Island beaches you need a permit but at this time of the month they're not checking too much if you want to risk it. I reccommend Orient Point state park but relaly any beach would work
