I know this is a long shot but anyone know of a good mechanic in NW Arkansas, I'm located in Fayetteville. I've heard of one place that's supposed to be good but can't seem to remember it's name. Right now I'm just needing my oil pan gasket replaced, I would do it myself but I don't have anywhere that I can make that big of a mess lol.

There's a off road place there in Bentonville, and there is a place here in FortSmith called come get ya some 479-782-mudd
they should be able to help, also over on college heading towards Fay Airport there is a off road repair center

Call Jewell Bohannan -------Bohannan Auto service 273-7674 (Bentonville) He works on Landcruisers. You might also try Buds auto parts in Fayettville 521-2915

I am in fayetteville to about a mile south of campus off garland, if you need some help I can give you a hand I have plenty of tools to do an oilpan gasket. Whatever you DO NOT go to rock ready 4x4 on south school that place is a freakin joke. I could build better rigs with angle iron and and a trolling motor everything they do looks booty fab. Bohannans in bentonville is good but you could knock out that oilpan gasket in a few hours for cheap or probably pay an arm and a leg to get it done up here most places will rape you on labor cost.

Thanks for the heads up on rock ready.

If I was going to take mine somewhere I'd probably have to say that Bobby in Little Rock would be my first choice.

While we are at this, is there anyone in the Russellville area good on cruisers for general mechanical work and or SOA work?

if you can get down to little rock cruiser solutions on colonel glen does really good cruiser work and mud connection does good work however both are really pricy

I second rock ready as a joke. Go to Bohannan's or do it yourself.

I know I'm jumping on this thread waaaay late, but I'm looking at buying a 80 series that will probably need some work done soon. Also, for peace of mind I'd like to have a mechanic who is knowledgeable of Land Cruisers look it over before buying. Tried calling Bohannan's but their phone number listed is disconnected. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, bringing ol' skool back ha :worms:

Unfortunately, the only mechanic on that list for Northwest Arkansas is Bohannans and either they are closed or have a different number... :-/

Call Mike at Autoworks in Rogers. He's the only one that I trust my 40 with. 479-899-6867.

Bringing the thread back from the dead!

Tried calling Bohannan but no answer. I need help w my front suspension (100). A year ago the CV axels were replaced by a terrible shop in Fayetteville and they are now torn and leaking. I’m not going there again, each time they touched my car something else was damaged or “failed”.

please help!

Does anyone use Come Get Ya Some in fort smith, AR? It's either them or the local toyota deal, unless I want to drive 1hr+

I've got a daughter attending UARK and could use some recs on a local Toyota shop. I'll also post up if/when I find one.
