Good, Easy Trails in WV or Eastern PA?

My 2 buddies and I want to go camping and do some light off roading next weekend somewhere within a couple hours of Pittsburgh. It will be just the three of us in my "new" '75 FJ40, so nothing too tough. Even an interesting forest road would do. Non of us have much experience, so I'm trying to be realistic. But I don't want to get all the way out there and find out I could have gotten out to the camp site in my Sentra.

We're looking into Canaan Valley Road and the surrounding area, but are there any others that I should look into?

don't know any in WV but you can check out George Washinton national state park (its in northwest VA). Do a google search. You also have paragon in PA and Uhwarrie in NC closest places around us .
