There have been some individual music threads about various concerts in the past, but I thought it might be a good idea to consolidate them. In my opinion, good music doesn't come through here nearly enough. Assumes it is a lack of venue issue.

Anyway, post any upcoming music you feel others might enjoy too!
 
Next Friday, February 3rd, Blackberry Smoke is playing at Duling Hall. My neighbor is a music promoter and I saw a post on his FB page.

BS is a mixture of ABB, Skynyrd, Southern Rock and country mixed together. I posted the link to the band's page and also the link to buy tix. Tix are 12 in advance and 15 at the door.

Never heard of them till this past week. bought 2 of their albums and been listening all week. I am going to check them out.

Aaron Lewis (from Staind) is doing a solo acoustic show at the Hard Rock in Biloxi next Saturday night (4-Feb). I never was a big Staind fan, but I really like his solo acoustic sets (some original stuff and some covers...his cover of Comfortably Numb is bada**). I missed the show that came through Vicksburg a couple of years ago and plan to make this one.

There is a Jackson area Groupon that showed up today. Its buy one ticket at 15, get one free.
 
Gonna miss kinky bc of work but I hope to go to Cody Canada, McMurtry, and Chris Knight since my LA project is wraping up. Anyone else?

If I am back in town Sunday I would like to go to Cody Canada. Have to play it by ear though.

Awesome!! You are going to love it, man! That guy is badass live with his band and probably even better acoustic. Saw him for the first time back in October and heard he will be back in Little Rock in May. Can't wait!

Just saw Reckless Kelly Saturday night here in LR... They always put on an awesome show!

Go see Cody and the Departed! You won't regret it!
 
I would love to see Eddie, but not sure about that much ukulele.
 
X2 and 3 and 4....ill be in little rock or i'd love to go.
