Dammit, just found out that you chuckle heads do not know good music. George Jones was at the rodeo last weekend and I missed it.... nary a mention on the "good" concerts thread.

Not to worry. A good friend of mine (who's a big GJ fan) went and said it was pretty bad. Apparently he sounded awful.

I saw him 5~ years ago in Tunica and thought it was about time for him to hang em up then... but still.. the guy's a legend and you never know when your last chance to see him will be. George/Willie/Merle = the last of an era..

Won't be sure until late afternoon if I'll be back in town, so I'm a bigole maybe. I spoke to the guy putting the gig on and he said he expected MM to make it through the show without talking about his poopoo.

It was good Lance. He's a strange guy though. You get what you get. He's not taking request. I'd like to see the whole band too.

Going next Wed to see Casey Donahew in Starkville. Matt Stell is opening. Should be awesome!
