Good 4wd mechanic on Brisbane Northside

Looking for a good 4wd mechanic in the Brendale/Strathpine area of Brisbane.

I have a Knocking sound coming from my steering on full lock, its louder when the truck is cold.

is it when you are driving or just when you turn to full lock .

can't really notice it when i'm driving, until i need to do a u-turn.
Then 1 knock when i turn 3/4 lock, then another knock returning through the same spot to centre

Have your engine running, get some one to move the stearing wheel L to R and watch the frount strearing, it may be the draglink rolling or the frount springs moving in the leaves.

Most cruisers make a sound like that once they get a bit of age on them I think it is the swivel hub , they get a grove in them from going in a straight line . I don't really worry about it to much .

You can feel it if you jack the front of your troopy off the ground and turn the tyre's/wheel as if you were going around a corner .


But if you are worried about it take it to a mechanic .
