Hey I just picked up an 87 4x4 that came from the desert. The bones are great, the interior is pretty shot. New seats at least.

I’d like to get it as close to stock as possible. The truck is an SR5 with the blue interior. Other than Pick n Pull and eBay, can anybody point me to some good parts sources?

Thanks!

Speaking from experience I can tell you that finding interior parts is a royal PITA - and if you do happen to be lucky enough to find some, 90% of the time you're going to pay a pretty penny for it.

There are aftermarket door panels and dash pad covers if you want to go the budget route. Those can be found on eBay. I had a set of aftermarket door panels and I was very unhappy with the quality of them and sent them back. It's what you need to expect with the aftermarket nowadays.

Unfortunately blue interiors are rather rare, so you're going to be paying even more than normal interior parts.

I do know of a guy in Minnesota with a yard full of trucks like ours. He's relatively fair on his prices for his stuff but if you want him to ship something you need to make it worth his while.

Best bet is eBay, junkyards and if you ever EVER find one in your area with good parts, buy the whole thing or take every little thing you can. I used a craigslist search app to check the whole country for these parts.

Happy hunting!

I have personally found it easier and cheaper to buy entire rigs that have a blown engine or tranny. I’ve picked up rigs for $500 to $1000, stolen the goodies and offloaded the rest to re coop my money. Sounds insane but you’d be surprised what you can find for $500. Just my 2 cents.
