Finally got around to installing this bumper from Goliath Offroad. It is their only option right now for the 80 series and this is with the Safari Bull Bar option.
Took about 8 weeks to get.
About $1800 with shipping, bare metal.
I ended up using Charcoal Steel-It since I had a bunch of it leftover from another project.
When i placed the order, they were offering frame reinforcement plates. I ended up ordering them but they took them off the website since they hadn’t verified fitment yet. They refunded me for them but still sent me a set to try out. Ended up fitting well and should probably be a part of the normal bumper. They are basically right angle plates that wrap around the side of the bumper overtop the frame to add. These don’t come with the bumper normally, as far as I know.
Only problem I had with the install was with their supplied hardware kit. First I didn’t get it. Then when I reached out, they sent me some 3 inch ish long bolts and nuts that had no use. Maybe their test vehicle didn’t have welded nuts in the frame?? I reached out about them again but didn’t hear back about them, so I ended up using my own hardware.
Also have a smittlybuilt 12k winch in there that barely fit. I had to modify the grill vertical brake to allow the spool to fit.
Still need to wire the winch up and get some pod lights installed.
Can’t speak to its usability yet but the install was smooth and the bumper fit well.
