I may be a little later in the afternoon getting there. Apparently it takes over a week to ship a battery box from CA and I am either going to have to temporary the battery in with my wiring or I will have to wait til it gets here on THURSDAY!!! and try to get it bolted in on Friday Morning.

Either way, we will be up sometime Friday.

Learning this before learning how to crawl is a huge benefit. It also helps you to learn the indispensable art of the "bump".

Updated the attendee list.

Remember that Lowe Toyota is covering the pavilion/camping fees. Everyone will be responsible for their own trail fees. Also, dinner is being provided by Jason and his wife on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing everyone! :cheers:

Also I am having trouble finding the part of the futile link that came out on 16.... I know it made it back with me, I just can't find the d@¥# thing now. :bang:

I think I threw the old one away too, the one time I actually chunk something that I could have used as a spare... Go figure.
 
What is the spread on trail difficulty at golden mountain. I've heard they have very narrow trails, how true is that?

I would disagree with the narrow trails comment. However, with it being full-blown summertime, there could be lots of limbs and foliage "reaching out". The difficulty level does average out to more of them being difficult trails though. But that's more due to the rocks and stumps than trees or tight trails. If you have your basic armor, bumpers and sliders, to protect you underneath, the rest is avoidable with cautious driving and spotting.

***All bets are off if it rains though; point, shoot, hope for the best!

There are some trails that are narrow but not any more than anywhere else. Bottom line is, just wheel what you're comfortable with. Or, we could split it into two groups and have one stick to the easier trails. The other one can be people that want to do stupid stuff. :hillbilly:

I think we finally got BGarcia to commit too but why do I not see an Rance or Andy or Hugh or Rob on here? Dammit man, Cid gave up running a 6k for this. :flipoff2:

Andy said he wasn't coming if its raining. But I told him to just drive his DD up anyway and enjoy the camaraderie. That part will fun rain OR shine!!!

My wife goes back to work on Thursday the 11th from being off on maternity leave since February. I would love to be there but just bad timing!!
