Well, the wife and I decided that cruise moab would be a good family trip this year. I have always wanted to go. She has to use up her vaca by May. We are doing an extended vaca and staying all week. Not sure of our exact plans and wanted to see if anyone else was going to be out there. We will probably be at CM only for 2 days of wheeling (the wife/family can't take much more than that) even though it is 3 days total. We will be there Friday all day for sure as that is the raffle and dinner night.

Any reccomendations on what to see on the way out there from San Diego? I need to do some research, we were thinking of leaving the weekend b4 and stopping on the way possibly.

I got a lot of work to do on the 80, cheap sliders, 4x4 labs bumper, interior rack redone, yadda yadda yadda

:)

still thinking of doing rubicon but that will have to be a game day decision.

Nice! That'll be a great trip. Zion NP in southwest UT is a must if you or the wife haven't done that before. There is Bryce too, but is a little bit more out of the way. In Moab, spend some time checking out Arches NP. That is one of our favorite NP since it is so unique.

Have fun, that'll be a great trip.

Noah,

I just signed up too. I said fawk it - it's now or never. I am going to spend some time in Zion and Bryce before the run. Did the Zion narrows trail a few years ago and want to go back and do some more slot canyon trips.

Hoping some other locals make it as well.

I'm in as well

I just said f-it as well and signed up after preliminary management approval.

It looks like Sam (Greg shotgun), Darby, and I are coming from BeachNtoys and will be meeting up with Ron Parker now living in Sedona. I mirror-ed Sam's choices with the results below.

Not sure of timimg yet, but Sam plans to go half way Tuesday and back Sunday or Monday. I am considering a Bonsai trip driving out Wed and coming back Sunday. We should try to caravan.

That's Awesome-. I also figured it was just the right time to do this trip. I am taking the whole week off and may spend some time in AZ as well.

Make sure to hit Hells Revenge and Poison Spider/Hells Revenge if you have time, they are the best of Moab.
Stay off Moab Rim and Cliff hanger till you get the feel of Moab.........they have scared off more than a few new folks there. I have a buddy who works in Ramona that locks up each time we hit the first ledge on Rim.
