I did 7 inches i think the max you can really go without major work is 8 inches. I left enough room in the back so a 37" tire will lay down.

cool just wondered ... lookin good BTW

Well you guys have inspired me I started truggy styling mine today:clap:

Little update since it has been forever

Pics to follow shortly and soon as I can find my camera

All the welding is done. Putting the interior back together the goal is to try and make it stock looking. I have lots of body work and painting to do.

Anybody know the color code of the beige landcruiser color?

Here are some pictures. Im going to cut the plastic sides to fit in the slots.

Went with a number that I have plent of experience with. 7 inches.

Windows are in getting cut down, wish they werent aluminum frames otherwise I would have done it.

Baaaaaaaaaaa, nice work!

looking good, any chance of getting a wider shot of the whole side for proportion

Just got all the body work done going to spray the same color paint over and hope it matches it up. Ill take some full shots outside when I get it all done.

Got the windows shortened and put in looks close to stock which is what I was going for.

Ill get some pics up as soon as I can find my camera

Here are a few pics of the windows in. They came out pretty nice and there is about 4 inches left to open the window. Enough to get air in the back.

That's really clean man, my Brother just picked up his first 80 now I just have to convince him to try this. Can you post some larger pictures of the after shot though?

Are you going to do anything with the frame or just let it hang?:hhmm:

Im going to cut it off then put the hitch back in between the frame rails for the brace. I had it set up like this before I cut so I will just move it back.

You can kind of see it in the last picture of post 37

looks nice should give you a few more degrees on the departure. Id like to see some pics of youre fit and finish.

All finished for the most part just need to take care of the frame in the back. Paint is all done, interior is all back together. Real happy with how stock looking it is. Its a short guy now.
