You can use muratic acid to speed up the patina process on those two new bars. Just spray it on and wait.

I used it on my clutch flywheel and it cleaned it didn’t rust it

Will it kill the white?

It can be used as a cleaner, as in spray and wipe. If you spray it on and let it sit it accelerates the rust process. If that is unsealed primer it will probably start rusting through it. If it is sealed paint it will work its way under the edges. Let it sit over night and spray again. Continue until desired level of patina has been obtained.

I carved up some SOR mats and got them tightly fit into the floor of the 45.

I also found these two chains in a box of stuff Tom gave me.

What are these for?

Nolan

I’ve upgraded to a speaker magnet and a water pump pulley.:hillbilly: See the cup holder thread in the 40 section.

Yeah I’ve got a sweet water pump pulley in Patina.

It’s perfect but I’ll have to come across another one that deep. The other two I have are shallow. Any idea what year that deep one pictured is from? I’d love a couple of those in The Goat

Also, I need this here knob if anyone has one

I also found the 2 halves of the rear view mirror so I went to work putting that back together

I love the 3M weatherstrip glue. Never dries up in the tube

This thing really drives good. I let air out of the tires and that helped some.

There is no problem getting it to 60 mph smoothly. Just need to adjust the brakes some. The rears lock up but it stops and drives great thanks to the @JasonH carb and brake rebuilds

If he got new glass he’d have to break it and glue it to make it look right at home...

Of all people I would think Jack would understand but you seem to.....

I just like to bust your chops. I will send out that hazard switch knob tomorrow. It's all original and crazy glued back together. Has the correct faded red color too.

What would MLK weekend be without you busting my chops. We go WAY back to a few epic/expensive fails on MLK on my part
