Here's what I used on Sage for the bed cushions. They come in different thicknesses and inter-lock. I like your idea better. Cheaper too.... I had already bought two sets...

I showed my wife my CLR handiwork and she was not impressed.

I realized it’s hard to tell when you do a whole panel at once.

I went and did 1/2 a door and let it dry.

This is a better example.

That's looking super!

I've noticed that CLR on the white paint isn't near as dramatic...
Didn't look much different, just cleaner.

I used it on my spring green 40. Took off a lot of overspray from Rust Converter and smoothed out the paint a lot. I am using a scotchbrite pad and it helps with the rough stuff.

I’m going to experiment with some wax and see if I can
Protect some of the better paint spots

Thanks, I was using a scotchbrite pad as well. I met a guy at hot August Nights that buffed his out using a wool pad and some light rubbing compound. I looked fantastic and also smoothed out some of the rough areas. Took lots of work though...wax would be a good thing.

If the Red isn`t too dirty I use such (not this but similar) stuff....
love it. Use it since 18 years .
I use a kitchen roll for cleaning not a microfiber cloths.
No water no rust. :)

@Doctor do Little I used similar.

After I finished the CLR I went around with the Griot’s and wiped up the residue and it put a little shine on the metal to boot

Totallytripendicular!

Dunno, I must be watching too much of the Olympic ice skating, that pink was starting to grow on me.

My friend @Papalud calls it aereola due to the former pink hue

Last ones.

The Goat is in the shed for a week while I travel. As I daydream this week of meetings away I’ll make a list of what’s next. It’s a great way to leave the ole Goat

Love it, much richer patina now than the aereola. Now it just needs a little lift and som 33” tires

Man when is the last time, if ever, you have driven a 40 with 700-15 tires?

Until I built Patina, for me, it was never.

I could not get a lift and 33’s or 35s on fast enough.

But man. They steer, stop and accelerate so great.
