My 67 has a stock visor still on the drivers side and bolts for the passanger side

Did you have holes in the windshield frame for those visors? Neither the ‘63 45 or ‘65 40 have holes (or nuts). I want/need visors!

Perfect timing by @65swb45 the tall replacements thermo housings arrived.

Perfect fit with no leaks.

The level of confidence I have in a Toyota with fresh belt, hoses, fuel system and plugs is amazing.

I need to adjust the front brakes and I’m ready to get some miles on it.

Curious why you decided to go with the two different style hose clamps---the constant tension band type on the upper radiator hose and the oem-style wire clamps everywhere else? Just an individual preference?

Hey Nolen do you have the temp sending fitting on the parts cruiser. Also looking for the spring on the cowl vent. Not sure if iys the same on the parts cruiser as the 1967

I may have a kick vent spring.

Don’t overthink that temp sender. Go find any type temp plug and screw it in that hole.

Dove into the sporadic rear lights. @JasonH suggested it was a ground issue so I decided to pull them out
And clean them up good

I also hit that section under the tailgate with CLR and got a preview of the paint under there.

I put about 20 road miles on it today.

I really like the drivability of the single barrel carburetor. I’ve never had one or driven one. Nice and smooth. No hickup like a 2 barrel with a secondary.

I got it up to 70 with ease. Nice and smooth.

When I got home I had enough time to CLR the tailgate and one rear panel. The red under there popped out nicely. I look forward to doing the rest of the truck this weekend

Goat just keeps getting better and better. I really wish the 45 I found this past summer would have worked out, I may have a line on another one so I'll keep my fingers crossed and continue to live vicariously through Goat until then.

Go here: Coolerman's Electrical Schematic and FSM File Retrieval and download the 1969 schematics. They are listed as 1969 but actually cover 1967 and up very closely.
