Worked on my FJ60 after work and was outside and saw my headache bars were starting to rust and could not stand it any longer and installed them.

Also busted out the chrome polish on the old acorns to try to match the new fronts. They look good.

Nolen where did u find the acorns

@40Habits had the ones from his truck. He’s going full resto so he bought the new repro’s.

I bought his. Decided not to mutilate the two for my hubs and bought two repro and sold my other 2 originals to @middlecalf

I’ve been putting the rear shock swap off because I’m old and it means crawling under the truck.

The fronts are standard FJ40 stock shocks. The rears are a bit longer.

FJ-45 rear shock ... shocks

Go flex that truck out after the shock install to knock some rust of those springs.....lol

Keep up the good work. Awesome truck

I spent a couple hours under it today after that photo with a heavy brush, air nozzle and Rust Converter.

I got the section inside the frame from he axle back done.

2 cans of Converter and 1 step closer to cancer.

I “drunk dialed” the @Racer65 website the other night and bought a few items I really didn’t need but are cool

The truck didn’t have visors

My horn relay was full of dirt

Did you have holes in the windshield frame for those visors? Neither the ‘63 45 or ‘65 40 have holes (or nuts). I want/need visors!
