Hello folks
Just brought out my HJ from 2 years of storage. I notice that the glow plug light doesnt cycle on. I hear the 2nd relay click so I am assuming the glow plugs are working though the weather is warm.
I am also needing to replace all windshield wiper blades. Does someone have an aftermarket part number that I could purchase at local large retailer. Thanks

You are probably right about the glow plugs - no need to light up.

The wipers are pretty universal, I get them at cdn tire, i think they are 19 inch - but bring one in to measure it up.

Regards.

Louis
Thanks for the reply. Problem is that before storage the glow plug light always came on regardless of ambient temperature.

Stone, This is me!!

Anyways Louis ALL the warning lights SHOULD come on when you turn the key and for ones that do not come on I would first check if the warning light is burned out.

Does it start fine? with out a massive long crank and a smoke show? if it does start fine I would say they are working..
Maybe bulb as Tapage says

If there not check the simple things, wires at the relays for busted wires, fuse, power at the busbar. Just have some one cycle the key while you probe with your meter for power.

The glow light didn't come on in my BJ60... when I pulled it apart I found a rats nest next to the glow plug timer (lower driver's kick panel). After some tape and wire it works just fine... and the PO had bypassed it and just installed a toggle! Lame.

Thanks for the advice folks. The vehicle is not suffering from no glow so I will be testing the bulb before winter. Thanks
JLo
