So I know this is nitpicky and all... but the glove box light on my FZJ80 doesn't seem to be working. I replaced the bulb and that did not work... That makes me think it could be the switch or the receptacle for the light.

Before I start researching this issue further --- can someone tell me what fuse this might be wired into? I doubt it's a wiring issue, but I'm just checking to see what everyone else might think...

Thanks for any advice!

96 LX EWD says 15A "Tail" fuse.

The Tail fuse is only powered when the parking or head lights are powered, have you tried it with the headlights on?

FWIW Mine was out and after I removeed the bulb to check it I put the smae bulb back in and it worked fine. I would remove and reinsert the bulb several times to make sure it is seated properly.

I got it worked out... turns out the bulb was fine, I just had to turn my lights on for that bulb to work...

Who would've thought... all the other cars I've owned had glovebox lights that worked regardless of the headlights...
