I don't know how it works in Florida, but in Washington state, I can get "Collector" plates if the vehicle is more than 30 years old, pay a ONE TIME fee of $56.75 and never have to register or renew them again.

Why not? ... it’s 1987. I made a lot of modifications and I really like it. 1FZ-FE engine, new front body. Totally legal. Not issues and very unusual on the street.
