Mods note; Lets keep this to registry info only please. And I will delete the chat posts as I see them. Thanks, BB
Also it would be nice and highly recommended that we have pictures to go with these posts. It makes the registry that much more enjoyable. So please add a picture to your post if you have not already. If you have trouble posting a picture you can ask me or roscoFJ73 for help in the matter. Cheers and look forward to seeing these trucks :)

Got this 1989 BJ74 about a year ago. I’ve been doing what I can to get it ready for exploring. This is where it sits.

Name: Ivan The Terrible

Engine: 13BT (4cyl turbo diesel)

Kim’s: 200,000 ish

Tranny: Auto

Rear: LSD

Tires: General Grabber AT2’s 265/75/16

Bumpers: Custom fab with designs unashamed stolen from Cruiser Outfitters, especially the Double heim joints to attach each swing out to each rear barn door so things aren’t flapping around when trying to open!
Additional things like chainsaw mount, jack-all lift points, jack-all storage...

Winch: Aisin 24v OEM Japanese with cable lead with Hawse fair lead.

Lights: IPF’s with 24v Hella H4’s @ 100watts. Speed Demon LED pods with Amber Laminex for fog and snow. Rear Speed Demon too for avoiding trees and vehicles in mall parking lots

On-board Air: VIAir

Picking up a 5x12 enclosed trailer soon to make an off-road camper with folding bunks and such...then I can hit the back country for days!

G'Day Fella's,

Chris, that is the best colour combination (I reckon), of all the BJ/FJ-73/74 Cruisers.

If you don't mind me asking, is there an importer in NZ, that you can buy similar BJ's from?
If so, do you have a link to their web site.

Regards
Homer

Cheers Homer. OP painted this one shortly before I purchased it. I went looking for a window regulator on TradeMe.co.nz and ended up buying this instead. :)

Strewth Mate! Theres a few BJs on TradeMe at the moment. Worth a look.

Thank You for that Chris, I'll go for a look shortly.
Yes, I've done similar things but never a Whole 4WD. LOL!

I forgot to say, Welcome to Mud and I hope you enjoy yourself, and share lots with us.
There a great bunch of people, with massive and diverse experience and knowledge, on Toyota Land Cruisers (TLC) etc.

Regards
Homer

Impulse buy but no buyer regrets. I am worried my wife will spot it in the driveway soon and give me a tune up. Having to arrive home late and leave before first light.

Cheers for the warm welcome. I've been lurking here sitting at the feet of the masters for sometime. Mud is an incredible wealth of knowledge and I have learned how to fix a bunch of things already. Time to start contributing and getting some photos up.

LOL! Chris, she's bound to notice eventually.
It's usually the colour difference, that gives it away.

Your welcome mate.

Happy Easter to you all.
