glass sunroof rubber seal (1 Viewer)

What are my options for replacing the rubber seal on the edge round the glass sunroof please?

It looks like a big job but at least the outer seal is still available. 63252-60010

The weatherstrip p/n I referenced in my earlier post is shared between the 70 and 80 series so I am sure the instructions are pretty much the same whether it be in that thread I am linking here or in the 80 or 70 series body shop manual.

Thanks, was a good read, are you sure weatherstrip is same? amayama show a part no. for the 70 but says discontinued and doesn't offer a replacement no. Don't have a lot of options though really!

For my HZJ77, it shows 63252-60010 and I can get it from various sources (and probably should stock one). However partsouq itself does shows out of stock which I use often. If yours is not the same p/n, ten I guess it may be discontinued.

63252-60010 shows to be used for HZJ77, HZJ76, KZJ78, PZJ77, and LJ78 as far as JDM 70 series goes. Check with your 70 series on toyodiy.com

That number 63252-60010 looks to be the weather strip for the metal frame that supports the sunroof, im looking for the seal that goes on the glass . like the dude did in the link above

I think Ill order 63251-60062 that looks like it may be the right part

So here it is.... I Ordered 63251-60062 and it doesnt fit!
Looks like the original seal has this rear flap attached to it and the new seal is a different profile and doesnt have the flap .
Dammit!
