If you have an urgent parts need, Cruiserdan or Sam Stewart will be happy to assist you.

I think Sam is away as well so that just leaves the old man! Have fun over there!

Yep. I was out all week. Back in the states now and will be back to the grind Monday.

Folks--

Back in the office. I have a pretty massive backlog so I appreciate any patience you may be able to extend.

This is the crappy part of going on vacations: coming back to a mountain of emails, voicemails and work stuff.

:meh:

No prob Beno my stuff was pretty miniscule so shoot me a PM when you're caught up.

You caught up yet?!!

pm sent

Onur...is the hood latch cable available separately?

Thanks!

Some Business musings......

1. Core returns: When you return a core to me for an alternator, a starter, an AC compressor, or brake calipers, I first off inspect them to see if they can be reused by the re-manufacturing companies (Denso/ADVICS/Akebono). All cores have to be rebuild-able for Toyota to give us core credits back. If they are not rebuild-able then I cannot give you the core charge back because Toyota will not reimburse us.

Cores MUST BE OEM Toyota parts for core charges to be refunded. They cannot be aftermarket parts. This is unfortunately Toyota's policy.

Also, shipping to get cores back to me will not be reimbursed by me. Unfortunately, the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges back to the dealer.

2. Big/Heavy Items: Since shipping is such a significant part of all purchase decisions for most people these days, going forward, NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS, on any radiators, rims (steel or aluminum), alternators, starters, rotors, condensers, transmissions, head's, short blocks, axle housings, etc. after they have left my parts department. They are yours to keep and you are welcome to re-sell them on MUD or Craigslist or eBay, etc. This is unfortunately non-negotiable and comes down as policy from people above me.

3. Glass: Unfortunately, I cannot ship any glass anymore. I have had too many damage/destroyed pieces of glass causing considerable heartache for the buyer and significant claim bureaucracy on my end, beyond trying to find the glass again from Toyota's supply lines. Glass will be for local pick-up only.

4. Inspecting shipments: Folks: Please, please, please, please, please, please .... I implore you to check your boxes immediately once you receive them from either USPS or Fedex. Make sure that the parts are not damaged or missing (look at the invoice and compare to what you received). If the box looks like it went through hell and back before it got to your doorstep, please refuse the shipment. Obviously, if you are missing parts, I will take care of getting them to you ASAP. If you accept packages and parts are damaged inside, then please contact me ASAP. Don't wait a few days or a week to contact me regarding damaged parts. It is your responsibility. If you do not contact me ASAP, I cannot guarantee that I am going to be able to assist you in getting you new parts based on the claims process with either USPS, Fedex, or Toyota.

Well, that's about all.....

I'l be in the office tomorrow. Happy 4th to everyone and stay safe! (or, as CDan would say, "Drive fast and take chances!!)

When did the 1FZ-FE go out of production globally? Trying to figure out how long it will be before the 5VZ-FE will do the same, and make sure I have one prior to that date.

Got my stuff early this week Beno, thanks again!

OK Beno, if you have my card on file send me the inner and outer clips and half dozen of the felt wiper bolts.

Going to wait on installing the AISIN hubs as I had no idea the hardware x12 would be that much, I'll stick with the superwinch hubs for time being.

Just got the front axle done and love the fill and drain plugs you sent a couple weeks ago.

Hello! I need the O2 sensor kit 89465-60110 for my 94 FZJ80 and this looks like the place to order - true?
I'm happy to keep this in the IH8MUD family - thanks!
Please let me know how to proceed.
Bob
