Are new keys still able to be cut using the VINs? I have gotten mixed messages on the matter.

Based on new Toyota protocols and rules, I can no longer cut keys based on VIN and ship them.
Toyota--due to legal issues-- is now requiring proof of ownership as well as a picture ID that corresponds to the ownership document(s) in terms of name.
I can sell you a key but I cannot cut it. You go to your local Toyota dealership now for VIN-based key cutting.

Folks: I will be out of the office wheeling in Uwharrie National Forest Friday-Sunday of this week.

The 60 does not and will not see that type of action. It is cream puff and I intend to keep her that way.
Anyway, the entire drivetrain in pulled out waiting for rebuild.
Wait didn't you just do a part time kit in that rig less than a year ago>? It is a puff, what tires are you running on that, look like MTs but that can't be because 60 cream puffs running MTs s are against the law in Georgia!
