Also folks, there is a "huge" winter storm coming to ATL tomorrow/Weds/Thursday...Armageddon 2....

I will be at work tomorrow and as far as I know everything is kosher for tomorrow.

Depending on the weather, I do not know the status of part orders for Weds or Thursday. I am going to be shipping everything USPS since Fedex decided not to show for three days after the last snow event. From my understanding a contract clause.

All parts orders currently ordered have been placed with Toyota.

Will update as I have more information.

Again, I appreciate your patience and patronage.

UPDATE:

Looks like with the impending storm and the fiasco from last time, they pre-emptively closed the store for tomorrow (Weds). As such, I will not be in tomorrow and will be back on Thursday hopefully.

I am here today till....well, who knows when....

UPDATE 2: Toyota will not be shipping us parts tomorrow and possibly Thursday. USPS still plans to pick up, no word from Fedex.

Stay safe man. I can't imagine going thru something like that!

All orders pending except a few were shipped today: radiators, axle shafts, 1 H55F, 2 80 series rear drive shafts, a few tune up kits, a 60 front axle rebuild, 3 80 series front axle kits, 1 complete 80 series carpet kit and a few others made the cut via USPS and FEDEX today.

We are off tomorrow and I hope to be back Thursday AM for work.

Till then, beers and a front axle job to replace a busted birf.

:)

Please don't!! I am having a hard enough time trying to convince my own technicians that 2wd Tundras do not have front drive shafts and that they only need to replace ujoints when they come in asking for front and rear driveshafts. Be afraid...be very afraid of the future.

Can you move to Santa Monica next? Every time I call, they ask if my land cruiser is 2wd or 4wd and say "that has a v6 right?" And before I can say never mind they quote me a price 3x that of anywhere else.

Then I order the parts from Beno and do it myself.

Not sure we are going to work tomorrow either...this s*** is supposed to continue all day and through the night.

Solid ice. 60 is being held in place by parking brake and wheel chocks....

In other news.....

This trunion should be re-usable.

Also, note to self: don't drive on busted birf for another 3K miles after it's shattered into a million little pieces.....

 Luckily, I have a few spares. ;)

Chain up those tires and get to work!

Enjoy your day(s) off. Hopefully you've been able to catch up on some projects.

Thanks for taking care of my order the other day...hopefully mother nature will allow it to be delivered....

Contact

I e-mail you a couple days ago. Is this a better way to contact you regarding parts?
Thank you.

Folks:

I am knee-deep in emails, phone messages, and PM's right now. Very overloaded.

Starting tonight, I will be staying till 9pm every night that I am here (excluding Sundays). This will allow me better opportunity to help everyone with their part needs.

Thanks for your understanding.

Through the end of the month I will be at work through 9pm.

**I am really backed up and I apologize to the folks who called today. I was not able to answer or return any calls today.**

Email seems to be the best way to get in touch with me since I can multitask while I work with one of the 40 techs standing in front of me at any given time.

I appreciate your understanding.

Best time to call is between 4pm-9pm through the end of February.

Regards.
