Would Amsoil severe gear 75-140 Be the appropriate brand/style and weight for arb lockers in a 200 front and rear diff? Used oem gears are in it.

Sorry bud - haven’t yet cracked the factory diffs of the Tundra & IDK the viscosity they recommend from ‘Yota.

The Tundra will likely go Harrop if you haven’t already done ARB’s.

Boat launches are algae covered here & 37’s keep the RR diff out of the saltwater.

The magnetic vs. compressed air IMO is a headache saver.

The air is what blows the seals & then your breather filter gets gunked w/ oil mist.
PITA.

Plus, you’re FL & I’m WA - huge climate difference.

So I know when I know & when to just say “IDK” — this falls in the 2nd category.

— Any local buddies running a 200?

Or the local Cruiser club?

—— That would be my resource. — HTH.

Some how this thread came back to life... so anyways ...

are you just increasing posts? stock or aftermarket do no matter towards gear oil

Some gears .. want to you use specific gear oils.

Example I have Nitro Gears and they want to you use Nitro 80w-140. This is combined with ARB air lockers front and rear.

The ARB locker can your the oil specified for the gears.

Since this thread is alive and I was asked for an update.

5 years and 36K miles and no issues running the 90-140W Delvac.

Time to replace the fluid in both Diffs. I Do like the Delvac without the modifiers, but will likely change to75-90W. Mostly because it does get below freezing here quite a bit in the winter and even below 0 for a few days each year. It helps you can get this in gallon jugs on Amazon as well.
