Gear Indicator

I have tried to find a picture of this but have not been able to located one. On the gear indicator attached to the shifter above park I have a hole where some thing use to be but I have not been able to find out what. I will take pictures tonight if need be.

There used to be a plastic cap. That's the shift interlock override. If your brake light switch fails or the battery is dead or for some other reason you are unable to shift out of park, insert something into the slot (key, small screwdriver, etc) in there to release the lock.
